FOLLOWING THE TAX FACTS

TaxAct was perpetually third in online tax services. Their problem? Brand recognition. Inspired by the brand name itself, our team at Publicis Hawkeye (now Razorfish) pitched an idea that would improve recall, while playfully highlighting TaxAct’s biggest value proposition: they help you find money hiding in your filing. That’s a Tax Fact.

Copywriting

We ensured creative spoke to realistic concerns (money hiding in plain sight) and the TaxAct experience (access to tax counselors), while also using more off-beat “facts” (bears can run at 35 miles per hour) to ensure campaign longevity and potential expansion.
